Thermistor errors
A thermistor that isn’t working properly should be checked for loose wires or damage and replaced if required. To reset a GE dryer after error codes E3-E6, unplug it, wait 30 seconds, then connect it back in.
E7
Failed electrical connection
Ensure that the dryer is connected to the proper electrical outlet. Electric dryers may need an outlet with a higher voltage in order to get enough power. Examine the circuit breaker for the dryer, looking for blown fuses or flipped breakers. To clear the error code, unplug the dryer and then reconnect it after waiting 30 seconds.

One of the control panel’s keys is stuck

Power Failure
Disconnect the dryer, wait 30 seconds, and then connect it back in. The error code will disappear.
001
The inlet thermistor temperature sensor has malfunctioned

002
The outlet thermistor temperature sensor has malfunctioned
Unplug the dryer from the power source. Any loose wires on the outlet thermistor should be connected. The wire harness must be changed if it is damaged. If the wire harness is ok, replace the inlet thermistor.
005
The main control board has malfunctioned
Turn off the dryer for 5 minutes. If the problem code reappears after the reset, replace the main control board.
006
Stuck button on the control panel
Push each button to try to release the stuck button. Disconnect the dryer and check for any broken or loose control panel components if the error code does not reset. If the control panel is working, the main control board should be replaced.
